All of the top teams retained their spots on top of this week’s media basketball polls, although two of them dropped games this past week.

Both the Aberdeen Christian boys and Viborg-Hurley girls remained number one in their respective polls, despite setbacks to quality foes this past weekend.

Christian, which fell to Class A Hamlin (which is now receiving votes), received 18 out 20 first-place votes. De Smet move up to second this week. Viborg-Hurley, which lost to Class A top-rated Hamlin, received 17 out of 20 first-place votes. Wolsey-Wessington continues to be rated second.

Unanimous number one selections include Sioux Falls Jefferson in Class AA boys, Dakota Valley in Class A boys, Jefferson in Class AA girls, and Hamlin in A girls.

Florence-Henry is receiving votes in Class A girls.
