PC women drop final game to Dakota State

MADISON – The Presentation College women’s basketball program came to close on Monday night.

The Saints fell in the final game in school history, dropping a 116-40 decision to Dakota State during the North Star Athletic Association Playoffs.

The Trojans bolted out to an early lead and improved to 24-5 with the victory. The host squad shot 68 percent from the field.

Elsie Aslesen topped Dakota State with 20 points. Morgan Huber added 19, Sidney Fick followed with 15, Lilly Mackley contributed 14, and Savannah Walsdorf finished with 10.

Emma Ogitchida led Presentation with 14 points. The Saints ended their final campaign with a 2-24 record.
