Sioux Falls Washington is back on top of the Class AA girls in this week’s media basketball polls. The Warriors took over the top spot from Sioux Falls Jefferson, who slipped to second. Washington received 10 first-place votes, Jefferson eight, and O’Gorman two.

Washington was also a big mover in the AA Boys, going from receiving votes up to third. Jefferson remains a unanimous number one pick.

The Aberdeen Christian boys and Hamlin girls retained the top spots in their respective polls. Christian received 17 first-place vote in the B boys with De Smet receiving the other. Unbeaten Hamlin is a unanimous number one selection in A girls. Sisseton is receiving votes.

Dakota Valley is a unanimous selection in Class A boys. Hamlin is receiving votes.

Viborg-Hurley received all but one first-place vote to continue to the lead the B girls. Wolsey-Wessington, rated-second, receive the other vote.
