Sumption, Nilsson highlight girls’ LRC squads

The Lake Region Conference has announced its all-conference girls’ basketball teams.

The first team is led by conference Co-Most Valuable Players juniors Laura Sumption of Leola-Frederick and Ava Nilsson of Warner.

Other first team members include junior Sofia Losure of Leola-Frederick, sophomore Adriana Ratigan, and freshman Ashley Haven of Northwestern, junior Addison Melius of Faulkton, and senior Brittney Frickson of North Central.

Second team selections are junior Chloe Arneson of Leola-Frederick, senior Kamryn Anderson of Warner, senior Ella Haven of Northwestern, senior Paislee Martinmaas of Faulkton, senior Katie Bierman of Ipswich, junior Chloe Bosma of Aberdeen Christian, and junior Megan Gustafson of Langford Area.

Honorable mention selections are junior Lauren Marcuson of Warner, sophomore Carley Cotton of Faulkton, freshman Gabby Wald of Ipswich, junior Chloe Holt of Aberdeen Christian, and eighth-grader Alex Darling of Langford Area.
