BERESFORD – Hamlin won six field events and a pair of relays during the Beresford/Alcester-Hudson track and field meet on Monday.
The Chargers captured wins in four field events on the girls’ side. Gracelyn Leiseth won the shot put and discus with Kami Wadsworth second. Wadsworth won the javelin, and Marissa Bawdon topped the field in the long jump.
On the boys’ side, Cristhain Rodriquez won the shot put and was second in the javelin, and Kaden St. Pierre won the discus and was third in the shot put.
Hamlin also won the 400-meter and 800-meter relays. Members were Rylan Thue, Luke Fraser, Zac VanMeeteren and Gavin Prouty. The same foursome was also second in the 1,600-meter relay. Thue finished second in the 200-meter dash, and Fraser was third in the 400-meter dash.
