Potter County wins girls’ title at Ipswich Invitational

IPSWICH – The Potter County girls and the Wessington Springs boys captured team championships during the Ipswich Invitational golf tournament on Thursday.

Potter County had three of the top five golfers to power the girls’ team crown. Olivia Mikkelsen was the medalist with a 90, Neva Mikkelsen was runner-up with a 93, and Braden Bieber finished fifth with a 101.

Blake Larson of Wessington Springs shot a blistering 69 to top the boys’ field. Kaden Weinreis of Doland was third with a 74.
