Cavaliers finish third at Pierre Invitational

PIERRE - Aberdeen Roncalli placed third place or higher in six different flights on the way to a third place finish in team points at the Pierre Invitational tennis tournament on Friday. Lennox won the team title with Sioux Falls Christian second. "I'm just very pleased to be seeing so much improvement overall, in singles and in doubles," said Roncalli coach Paige Hermanson. "Some kids are being placed in roles that they're not necessarily used to due to unforeseen circumstances, and still giving it their all." The Cavaliers were led by senior Jacob Bellefeuille, who finished runner-up at sixth flight singles. Roncalli's Palmer Johnson (second flight), Gannon May (third flight), Jayden Reecy (fourth flight) and Ezra Feickert (fifth flight) all took third place in singles action.
