SIOUX FALLS – The fourth-rated Sioux Falls Brewers scored seven runs in the first three innings and held off a late Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar rally for a 9-5 amateur baseball victory on Saturday.

The host squad, which collected 15 hits, plated four runs in the bottom of the first and tacked on three more in the bottom of the third.

Aberdeen rallied with two runs in both the seventh and eight frames, but could never get over the hump.

A total of eight different players each had one hit for Circus, including a triple by Jesse Babcock.
