GROTON – Colby Dunker and Logan Ringgenberg combined to keep Hamlin off the board as Groton grabbed a 6-0 win in American Legion baseball action Wednesday night.

Groton scored all the runs it would need in the second inning with runs coming in on a ground out and a wild pitch.

The host squad added three more runs in the third, with runs again coming across on a ground out and a wild pitch in addition to an RBI-single from Cade Larson. Groton then added one more run in the fourth on another ground out.

Larson finished with two hits for Groton. Dunker and Kaleb Hoover each had doubles.
