SISSETON – Seven different players all had one hit apiece as Groton rolled to a 18-3 American Legion baseball victory over Sisseton on Wednesday night.

The visitors then plated eight runs in the third inning, all coming after two outs. Korbin Kucker and Bradin Althoff keyed the uprising with two-run doubles.

Sisseton scored three runs in the third inning when it had its lone hit combined with Groton’s two errors.

Larson finished the night with four runs-batted-in, while Kucker had three RBI, and Simon and Althoff each drove in a pair.
