Redfield blanks Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern

REDFIELD – Redfield scored seven runs in the two first innings, and Owen Osborn tossed a two-hit complete game in an 8-0 victory over Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern in American Legion baseball action Tuesday night.

Osborn, who retired the first 10 batters he faced, did not walk a batter and struck out two.

Meanwhile, the Redfield offense put up four runs in the first inning and three more in the second. Peyton Osborn double in one run and Elliott Komraus had a two-run double in the first inning. Keaton Rohlfs delivered a run-scoring double in the second frame.

Camden Osborn and Seth Siebrecht each had two hits for Redfield. Peyton Osborn finished with three RBI, while Rohlfs and Komraus each drove in a pair.
