Redfield moves to 8-1 with victory over W-I-N

NORTHVILLE - Redfield collected 11 hits, and took advantage of six walks and nine errors on the way to a 13-1 victory of Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern in American Legion baseball action Wednesday night. Redfield is now 8-1 on the season. Owen Osborn tripled to drive in a run and then scored on a wild pitch to give Redfield a 2-0 lead to start the top of the first inning. Redfield then broke the game open with five runs in the second frame. Camden Osborn drove in one run, while the others scored on a wild pitch and multiple errors. Peyton Osborn plated another run with a double in the fifth, before Redfield tacked on five more runs in the sixth inning as Owen Osborn hit a solo home run, before Nolan Gall, Elliott Komraus, Eli Morrissette, and Camden Osborn each delivered run-scoring hits. Owen Osborn finished with three hits, drove in three, and scored three times to pace the victory. Camden Osborn had a pair of hits and two RBI, while Peyton Osborn also had two hits. Me
