Area golfers compete in SDGA Junior Championships

WATERTOWN – One Aberdeen golfer finished runner-up, while another is in second heading into the final round of the SDGA Junior Championships in Watertown.

Finn Anderson took second in the boys’ 14-15 division. Anderson shot a round of 70 on Tuesday for a two-day total of 147 to finish two strokes off the lead.

Olivia Braun of Aberdeen is in second in the girls’ 16-18 division. She has a 36-hole total of 157 and trails Bryn Huber of Huron by two strokes. Jayce Pugh of Miller also has a two-day total of 157. They wrap up play with another 18 holes today.

Clark’s Kaden Wookey topped the field in the boys’ 12-13 division with a 152.
