The Cavaliers were led by a fourth-place finish by Raley Haskell in the flight 3 bracket. Keira Rivett finished fifth at flight 5, while Anna Mitzell was sixth at No. 4 and River Haskell was seventh at No. 2. β€œIt was a tough day on the courts for everyone,” said Roncalli coach Jason Haskell. β€œWe were able to eke out a few wins, but nobody had a stellar day.” The tournament featured pool play matches to begin the day, which seeded the bracket play in the latter half of the day. β€œIt was nice to get together and play mostly (Class A) schools in a tournament-style setting,” Jason Haskell said. β€œIt’s a good meet for us to get a barometer for the season.” Roncalli resumes action today with the doubles portion of the two-day tournament.
