The Aberdeen Central girls are rated fifth in the AA poll. The Golden Eagles are 2-1 to start the season. The Central boys are receiving votes in the AA poll.

Top-rated teams are Sioux Falls Lincoln in AA Boys, Harrisburg in AA girls, Sioux Falls Christian in A boys, and Tea Area in A girls.
