MADISON – All three of Aberdeen Roncalli girls’ tennis doubles teams ended their weekend with victories Saturday during the doubles portion of the Madison Invitational.
Katherine Kretchman and River Haskell at Flight 1, and Raley Haskell and Keira Rivett at Flight two, ended their day with victories during the consolation portion of the bracket play. Sisters Anna and Josie Mitzel concluded their day with a seventh place showing at Flight 3.
Kretchman and River Haskell fended off the host duo of Delilah Maxwell and Sienna Maxwell by a 9-7 score after splitting their pool play matches.
Raley Haskell and Rivett did not fare as well in pool play, but rebounded with an 8-3 win over Milbank’s Jenna Korstjens and Amelia Pederson.
The Mitzel sisters bounced into the seventh place match where they met Milbank’s Charlotte Swanson and Paton Lamp. The Mitzels won handily by an 8-1 count.
Roncalli will head to the Brookings Jamboree next weekend for two matches.
