Action gets underway at Big Buck Nationals

Three local drivers and a pair of North Dakota racers picked up feature victories during the opening night of the Big Buck Nationals at Brown County Speedway Thursday night.

Aberdeen’s Mike Stearns won the Modified feature and Chad Becker won the Late Model main. Trevor Nelson of Warner won the Super Stock feature race.

Other feature winners on the night were Kyle Anderson of Jamestown, N.D., in Street Stock, and Lucas Rodin of Marion, N.D., in Midwest Modified.

Racing continues tonight at 7 p.m., and concludes Saturday night at 6 p.m. with complete shows both nights.
