MILLER – Northwestern’s Ella Boekelheide and Miller’s Alex Schumacher won their respective races during the Miller Invitational Cross Country Meet on Monday.

The Potter County girls and the Philip boys picked up team crowns.

Potter had three of the top seven finishers in the girls’ race. Heidi Olson of Mobridge-Pollock was runner-up, followed by Autumn Fallis of Highmore-Harrold in third, and Potter County’s Dannika Kaup and Emma Schlachter in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Philip had four of the top seven runners in the boys’ race. Nicholas Schlachter of Potter County finished third and Pierce Baumberger of Miller was fourth.
