AGENCY VILLAGE – Aberdeen Roncalli made it a clean sweep for its third straight victory Thursday night, taking a 25-8, 25-14, 25-16 victory over Tiospa Zina.

“The girls came out strong and did a great job of playing our game,” said Roncalli coach Mandy Smid. “Jaidyn Feickert had a great night for us in all areas. We were able to get some new faces on the floor as well tonight.”

While she wasn’t the top statistical leader in any single category, Feickert proved to be a driving catalyst in a number of areas for the Cavaliers, finishing with seven kills, 11 digs and a pair of service aces.

As a team, Roncalli asserted its will from the service line, racking up nine aces. That kept the host Wambdi out of sync for the most part. Ava Danielson had three of those aces, while Ava Hanson led the way at the net with 12 kills.

Faith Danielson notched 20 assists and Camryn Bain paced the defense with 15 digs.

“Overall a good night of play that allowed us to work on some things we’ve been working on in practice,” Smid said.

Roncalli will head to Florence next Tuesday to take on Florence-Henry. Match time is set for 7:30 p.m.
