CLARK – Flandreau won both team championships during the Clark-Willow Lake Cross Country Meet on Thursday afternoon. The Fliers edged Madison by a single point to win the boys’ title, and were four points ahead of Clark-Willow Lake to capture the girls’ team crown.
Tri-State’s Kaleb Foltz won his fourth boys’ race in the past 10 days. Cooper Pommer of Clark-Willow Lake finished fifth.
The Clark-Willow Lake girls had a strong team showing, placing five runners in the top 10, led by Kamryn Nesheim in second place. Teammates Hadley Gjerde and Cadence Bochek finished fifth and sixth, respectively.
