GETTYSBURG – Potter County captured both individual titles at the Battler Invitational Cross Country Meet at the Gettysburg Country Club on Saturday.
On the boys’ side, Potter County’s Nicholas Schlachter captured a first-place finish with a time of 16:30.82, well ahead of McLaughlin’s Wamni Kills Crow (17:07.37). Ipswich’s Xavier Kadlec, McLaughlin’s Jayden Take Alive, and Herreid-Selby Area’s Gavin Hirsch rounded out the top five.
On the girls’ side, Potter County’s Dannika Kaup won with a time of 19:15.20, ahead of Highmore-Harrold’s Autumn Fallis (19:31.21). Potter County runners Jadyn Ahlemeier and Emma Schlachter finished third and fourth, while Warner’s Kennadee Wagner finished fifth.
