Unbeaten Warner is the new top-rated squad in Class 9A in this week’s Prep Media football poll. The Monarchs, defeated Faulkton last week, while previous number one Canistota lost to Hanson.

Harding County-Bison has moved into the second spot in 9A, with Canistota slipped to third.

Warner has a big game again this week as the Monarchs hit the road to take on undefeated Hamlin, which is rated second in Class 9AA.

Faulkton remained the top-rated squad in Class 9B.

Elsewhere, Deuel cracked top five in Class 11B for the first time this season. The Cardinals are now rated fifth. Hitchcock-Tulare is rated fourth in Class 9B.

Among the teams receiving votes are Aberdeen Central in Class 11AA, Wolsey-Wessington in Class 9A, and Herreid-Selby Area in Class 9B.

Other top-rated teams are Sioux Falls Lincoln in 11AAA, Pierre in 11AA, Dell Rapids in 11A, Winner in 11B, and Parkston in 9AA.
