There were few changes this week in the Prep Media football polls. All of the leaders retained their top spots among their respective classes.

Meanwhile, the playoffs for Class 11B and all nine-man schools get started on Thursday. Playoffs for the largest three classes will begin next week.

The most noticeable movement this week occurred in the two smallest classes. Philip inched up to the second spot in Class 9A, while Avon bumped up one position to second in Class 9B.

Warner continues to be the top squad in Class 9A, and Faulkton remained the number one team in Class 9B.

Other top-rated teams include Sioux Falls Lincoln in 11AAA, Pierre in 11AA, Dell Rapids in 11A, Winner in 11B, and Parkston in 9AA.

Other area teams in the polls include Aberdeen Central fifth in 11AA, Deuel fifth in 11B, Hamlin third in 9AA, and Herreid-Selby Area fifth in 9B.
