CORSICA – Landon Larson fired three touchdown passes to help lead Potter County to a 24-20 victory over Corsica-Stickney in the quarterfinals of the Class 9B football playoffs Thursday night.

Larson, who finished with 130 passing yards, threw TD passes to Chance Smith, Ryder Falkenhagen and Jhett Simon, as the Battlers knocked off their second higher-seeded opponent in as many weeks.

Potter County will now take on familiar foe Faulkton in the semifinals next Friday.

Carter Wright rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown, and had 8 tackles to pace Corsica-Stickney.
