There was little movement in this week’s Prep Media football polls, but there was one noticeable change.

Aberdeen Central, despite dropping a close contest this past weekend, moved into the top five in Class AA. The Golden Eagles are currently rated fifth.

The other changes involving top teams involved squads in Class 9AA and 9A. Howard moved up one spot in 9AA moving into second following Hamlin’s setback to Warner last Friday. Canistota bumped up one spot in 9A after last week’s second-rated squad Harding County-Bison fell to Wall.

A pair of Lake Region Conference teams continue to be rated number one in their respective classes. Warner is the top squad in 9A, while Faulkton leads the pack in 9B.

Deuel continues to be rated fifth in Class 11B, and Hitchcock-Tulare is fourth in 9B with Herreid-Selby Area receiving votes.

Other top-rated squads are Sioux Falls Lincoln in 11AAA, Pierre in 11AA, Dell Rapids in 11A, Winner in 11B, and Parkston in 9AA.
