ECC announces all-conference volleyball teams

The Eastern Coteau Conference has released its all-conference volleyball teams.

ECC champion Florence-Henry, as well as Great Plains Lutheran and Wilmot each had two members on the first squad.

Caylin Kelly of Florence-Henry was selected as the MVP, while Jacklyn Karli of Great Plains Lutheran was chosen as the Coach of the Year.

Here are the all-conference players:

First Team: Heather Storbakken (Jr.) of Britton-Hecla, Caylin Kelly (Sr.) and Taylor Watson (Sr.) of Florence-Henry, Abigail Kjenstad (So.) and Olivia Holmen (Sr.) of Great Plains Lutheran, and Paige Johnson (Sr.) and Addison Heinje (Fr.) of Wilmot.

Second Team: Emma Kraft (Sr.) and Kaegan Fredrickson (Sr.) of Britton-Hecla, Kaitlyn Rawerts (Jr.) of Great Plains Lutheran, Halle Gaukler of Tri-State, Liza Purdy (So.) of Waubay-Summit, and Jaina Johnson (8th) and Emily Heuer (Sr.) of Waverly-South Shore.

Most Valuable Player: Caylin Kelly of Florence-Henry.

Coach of the Year: Jacklyn Karli of Great Plains Lutheran.
