Patriots, Warbirds headline 281 all-conference first team

Hitchcock-Tulare and Wolsey-Wessington each landed a pair of players on the first team of the 281 Conference all-conference volleyball team.

First team selections are Katelyn Schroeder (Jr.) and Ella Johnson (Jr.) of Hitchcock-Tulare, Lainey Uttecht (Sr.) and Kailyn Dorris of Wolsey-Wessington (Sr.), Avery Orth of Wessington Springs (Jr.), and Addy Knight (Fr.) of James Christian.

Second team players are Alyssa Grohs (Sr.) of Wessington Springs, Samara Clemente (Jr.) and Kendal Uttecht (So.) of Wolsey-Wessington, Rebecca Bich (Sr.) of Iroquois-Lake Preston (Sr.), Cambree Hoekman of Hitchcock-Tulare (So.), and Liz Boschee (So.) of Sanborn Central-Woonsocket.

Third team selections are Kendall Cermak (Sr.) of Highmore-Harrold, Kennadie Ochsner (Sr.) of Sanborn Central-Woonscket, Payton Kemnitz (Sr.) of Wolsey-Wessington, Cora Hofer (So.) and Kaylie Robinson (Jr.) of James Valley Christian, and Faith Steffensen (Sr.) of Iroquois-Lake Preston.

Those chosen for honorable mention are Shae Uttecht (Fr.) of Wolsey-Wessington, Kenidey Effling (Sr.) of Highmore-Harrold, Elena Campagnolo (Sr.) of Iroquois-Lake Preston, Lila Johnson (Fr.) and Isabel Gilbert (Jr.) of Hitchcock-Tulare, and Raylee Fagerhaug (Sr.) of Wessington Springs.
