HARTFORD – Lane Tietz finished with 31 points, three assists and four steals as Groton pulled away from West Central for a 71-54 non-conference boys’ basketball win Friday night.

Jacob Zak, Keegan Tracy and Logan Ringgenberg each had 11 points for the Tigers, who led by just five at halftime. Ryder Johnson contributed seven points and a team-leading nine rebounds.
