WEBSTER - Miller-Highmore-Harrold won the boys' team title, while Sioux Valley captured the girls' team crown during the Webster Invitational wrestling tournament on Friday. Aberdeen Central finished second in the boys' division with a combination of a few varsity members along with some junior varsity wrestlers. "We’ve always sent our JV over there, and we had a couple of varsity guys, mainly our heavier kids, that missed a weigh-in due to illness or injury the first semester," said Central coach Donnie Bowden. "So, we thought it would be a good opportunity for them to get some matches in." Central's Cole Dunlavy and Ayden Gisi won titles in their respective weight classes, while Ryker Meister and Samson Flakus were both runner-up. "We had four guys in the finals. We had two guys win it," Bowden said. "They were all pretty dominant in their performances." The Golden Eagles will head to the two-day Bismarck Rotary tournament next weekend that will feature 30 teams.
