Second half surge carries Sisseton past GPL

SISSETON – Second-rated Sisseton pulled away from a six-point halftime lead to record a 63-33 non-conference girls’ basketball win over Great Plains Lutheran Monday night.

Krista Langager scored 17 points to lead four players in double-figures for the Redmen, 2-0 on the season. Hannah Leverson followed with 14 points, Chloe Langager contributed 12, and Emmalee Nielson added 10.

Halle Bauer’s 11 points led a balanced attack for GPL.
