De SMET – Third-rated Castlewood outscored fourth-rated De Smet 19-3 at the free-throw stripe to help fuel a 48-40 boys’ basketball victory Monday night.

Lane Tvedt scored 13 points to lead a balanced attack for the Warriors, who improved to 11-1 on the season. Quincy Thu added 11 points, and Bryon Laue contributed 10 points and nine rebounds.

Tom Aughenbaugh’s 16 points topped De Smet.
