ONIDA – Sully Buttes jumped out to a first-quarter lead and turned back Philip for a 58-44 non-conference girls’ basketball victory on Tuesday night.

Payge Bakker scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Chargers. Stevie Wittler followed with 16, Addison Chicoine contributed nine, and Natalie Miles finished with seven.

Mattisen Reckling paced Philip with 11 points.
