MELLETTE – Groton rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to edge Northwestern 49-45 in overtime in non-conference girls’ basketball action Monday night. Jerica Locke scored 16 points, while Sydney Leicht added 14 for the Tigers, who received at least six points from five different players. Tara Blachford led all players with 18 points to pace Northwestern. Ana Ratigan contributed a dozen.
