NSU men fall to hot-shooting Bulldogs

Minnesota Duluth shot 59 percent from the field on the way to a 96-62 win over Northern State in men’s college basketball Saturday night at Wachs Arena.

The Bulldogs shot 64 percent in the opening half when they scored 52 points during the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference contest.

Jacksen Moni led four NSU players in double-figure scoring with 23 points. Josh Dilling contributed 17, Augustin Reede added 15, and Michael Nhial finished with 10.

The Wolves are now 7-11 overall and 5-7 in the NSIC. Northern has road games at Sioux Falls on Friday and Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday.
