GROTON – A trio of players combined for 63 points as Groton knocked off fourth-rated Dakota Valley 71-54 in non-conference boys’ basketball Monday night.
Lane Tietz scored 29 points, Jacob Zak followed with 18, and Keegan Tracy contributed 16 for the Tigers, who improved to 15-4 on the season. Zak and Tracy both added six assists as Groton pulled away from a halftime tie.
Dakota Valley’s Jaxson Wingert led all players with 30 points. Luke Bruns finished with 14.
