
TULARE – Erik Salmen scored 14 of his game-high 35 points in the fourth quarter to power Hitchcock-Tulare to a 66-57 non-conference boys’ basketball win over Northwestern Friday night.
Salmen also hauled down 10 rebounds for the Patriots, who pulled away from a 50-50 tie entering the final period. Jackson Maynard finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Dallas Stoltenberg paced Northwestern with 16 points, followed by Lincoln Woodring with 13, and Nathan Melius with 11.
