Pairings have now been finalized for next week’s Class A and Class B girls’ state basketball tournaments.

The Class A State Tournament will be March 7-9 in Brookings, while the Class B State Tournament will be March 7-9 in Rapid City.

Class AA SoDak 16 games take place Friday to determine the field for the AA tourney March 7-9 in Sioux Falls.

Here is a look at the opening round pairings for next Thursday:

State A Tournament at Brookings

8 Mount Vernon-Plankinton (18-5) vs. 1 Sisseton (21-1), Noon

5 Maypiya Luta (22-0) vs. 4 Vermillion (19-4), 1:45 p.m.

7 Hanson (17-5) vs. 2 Sioux Falls Christian (20-2), 6 p.m.

6 Tea Area (19-4) vs. 3 Flandreau (23-0), 7:45 p.m.

State B Tournament at Rapid City

8 James Valley Christian (16-6) vs. 1 Arlington (21-2), Noon

5 Wall (16-4) vs. 4 Ethan (20-2), 1:45 p.m.

7 Lyman (20-2) vs. 2 Harding County (22-0), 6 p.m.

6 Warner (21-2) vs. 3 Centerville (21-2), 7:45 p.m.
