Deuel, Miller athletes earn places at Mount Marty Indoor Meet

YANKTON – Deuel and Miller were among the teams that competed in the Mount Marty Indoor Track and Field Meet on Thursday.

Deuel’s Makia Moe won the girls’ pole vault, while Miller’s Pierce Baumberger was second in the boys’ 3,200-meter run and fifth in the mile. Alex Schumacher of Miller was second in the mile. Deuel’s Robert Begalka finished second in the shot put. Jaycee Hourigan of Deuel was third in the mile and fourth in the 800-meter run.
