Leola-Frederick and Warner each landed a pair of players on the first team of the Lake Region Conference all-conference girls’ basketball team. The squad is highlighted by LRC MVP senior Laura Sumption of Leola-Frederick.

Other first team members are seniors Ava Nilsson and Kyra Marcuson of Warner, junior Carley Cotton of Faulkton, senior Sofia Losure of Leola-Frederick, junior Adriana Ratigan of Northwestern, and senior Megan Gustafson of Langford Area.

Second team selections are senior Lauren Marcuson of Warner, senior Kellli Stoecker of Faulkton, sophomores Amree Vander Vorst and Ella Batie of North Central, freshman Tara Blachford and junior Ashley Haven of Northwestern, freshman Alex Darling of Langford Area, and senior Chloe Bosma of Aberdeen Christian.

Honorable mention picks are junior Presleigh Martinmaas of Faulkton, eighth-grader Jillian Ellwein of Leola-Frederick, sophomore Marley Guthmiller of Ipswich, sophomore Paytyn Marlow of Langford Area, and senior Chloe Holt of Aberdeen Christian.
