BISMARCK, N.D. – The Bismarck Bobcats scored less than two minutes into the game to help set the tone for a 5-1 win over the Aberdeen Wings during game one of their NAHL playoffs series on Friday night.

The hosts added another first-period goal before Aberdeen sliced the deficit in half on a goal by Zach Reim with assists by Leonid Bulkagov and Simon Pollock to start the second period.

However, Bismarck responded with another goal later in the second period, before scoring twice in the third, one on an empty netter, for the final margin of difference.

The Bobcats, who received goals from five different players, outshot the Wings by a 42-30 margin.

Game two of the series takes place tonight in Bismarck before the series shifts to the Odde Ice Center in Aberdeen next Friday.
