CLEAR LAKE – Members of the Deuel track and field teams combined to win 15 events at the Pork Chop Relays on Tuesday.
Gabe Sather led the Cardinals with wins in the 110-meter high hurdles, 300-meter intermediate hurdles, and the pole vault. Teammate Oliver Fieber topped the field in the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes, while Deuel’s Tyson Hagberg won the 3,200-meter run, Robert Begalka won the discus, and Owen Haas won the javelin.
On the girls’ side, Deuel’s Alayna Carlson won the 100 and 200 dashes and also ran on the winning 400-meter relay squad. Jaycee Hourigan picked up wins in the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter runs, Isabelle Imm won the 800, and Josie Andersen won the javelin.
Other double individual event winners included Jeron McCreary of Webster in the high jump and long jump, and Sisseton’s Chloe Langager in the shot put and discus.

The Webster won three relay races in the boys’ division, while Britton-Hecla won three relay races on the girls’ side.
