NORTHVILLE – Howard scored 10 runs in the final three innings to pull away from Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern in high school baseball action on Sunday.

Howard was clinging to a 3-2 after the first four frames before breaking the game open with two runs in the fifth, and four runs in both the sixth and seventh innings.

Kolt Koepsell finished with three hits and drove in five for the Tigers. Jackson Remmers also had three hits and scored five times.

Xavier Kadlec had two hits to pace W-I-N.

Nolan Mentele and Luke Koepsell each struck out four batters for Howard. Gavin Lane fanned six batters for the hosts.
