
FAULKTON – Golf squads from Miller captured team championships Thursday at the Faulkton Invitational.
The Miller boys edged Edmunds Central by three strokes, while the Miller girls rolled to the team crown.
Seth Hettick of Edmunds Central was the boys’ medalist with a 78, edging Miller’s Derek Brueggeman on a tiebreaker. Gavin Colson of Sully Buttes and Oliver Fritzsche of Miller were just one stroke back.
Miller’s Jayce Pugh shot an 84 and finished one stroke better than teammate Kaihlyn Anderberg in the girls’ division.
