VOLGA – Katrina Hageberg tossed a no-hitter while striking out 13 batters in a 4-1 win over Sioux Valley in a softball doubleheader on Thursday.

Sioux Valley won the opening game 4-2 in walk-off fashion when Savana Guthmiller delivered a two-run triple in the bottom of the fifth inning. Hagberg struck out 10 batters in that contest for Deuel.

Redfield 16, Milbank 1

REDFIELD – Kendyl Siebrecht homered in Redfield’s first at-bat in the bottom of the first inning and Redfield was on its way to a 16-1 victory over Milbank on Thursday.

Charli Jungwirth had three hits to lead the hosts, who finished with 13 hits. Siebrecht and McKayla Schulz each added a pair of hits. Siebrecht, Schulz and Jersey Morrison each drove in two runs in the win.
