Clark-Willow Lake girls win Flandreau meet

FLANDREAU - Clark-Willow Lake won the girls' team points, while Hamlin's Zac VanMeeteren had a role in four victories during the Flandreau Last Chance track and field meet on Thursday. Kamryn Nesheim of Clark-Willow Lake won the 3,200-meter run and ran on the winning sprint medley relay team, and teammate Zoe Nichols won the 300-meter intermediate hurdles, and was a member of the first place 400-meter relay squad. The Cyclones also won the 800-meter relay on the way to capturing the team crown. VanMeeteren won the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash and ran on the Chargers' winning 1,600-meter relay team. Deuel's Robert Begalka won the shot put and discus.
