North Central sweeps titles at home meet

EUREKA – North Central won team championships in both divisions during the Eureka Legion Relays on Saturday.

The Thunder were led on the girls’ side by Lindsey Geier, who won the long jump and the triple jump.

Faulkton’s Carley Cotton also had a big day, winning the 100-meter hurdles, the 300-meter intermediate hurdles, and running on the winning 3,200-meter relay squad.

On the boys’ side, Aitor Ortega of Highmore-Harrold won the 110-meter high hurdles, the 300 hurdles and also the high jump.
