NORTHVILLE – Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern collected 14 hits and took advantage of nine walks and 21 wild pitches on the way to a 14-4 high school baseball victory over Oldham-Ramona-Rutland on Sunday.

The hosts scored six runs in the first inning and added six more in the fifth frame.

Dawson Ward and Drew Bakeburg each had two-run singles to highlight the first inning.

Chays Mansfield, Devon Fischbach, Alec Mikkelson, and Tristan Gosch each drove in runs during the sixth inning.

Meanwhile, Gavin Lane racked up 10 strikeouts in going the distance on the mound for W-I-N.

Brennon Bickett had a bases-loaded double in O-R-R’s four run fifth inning.

Mikkelson, Lane, and Mansfield each had three hits for W-I-N, while Ward finished with a pair. Mikkelson and Lane each doubled, while Levi Little tripled in the victory.
