Redfield Dairy Queen blanks Minnesota foe

REDFIELD – A pair of Redfield Dairy Queen pitchers combined to shut down Rosen, Minn. in a 6-0 Amateur baseball victory Friday night.

Tommy Gregg allowed just three hits in six innings, before Bennett Osborn pitched three hitless innings in relief. Rosen did have runners on base in every inning but two, however, Redfield recorded a pair of double plays to help get out of jams.

Redfield got on the board in the fourth inning on Peyton Osborn’s RBI double, and then broke the game open with a four-run sixth. Camden Osborn and Bennett Osborn each drove in one, and Cooper Hainy plated a pair with a double.

Hainy, who had two hits and three RBI, drove in the game’s final run in the eighth inning.

Bennett Osborn topped DQ with three hits. Camden Osborn and Brent Osborn each had two hits.
