The South Dakota Cross Country and Track and Field Coaches Association have named their Coach of the Year awards for this past track and field season.

This year’s honorees include:

Area 1 Class B: head coach Chad Spicer, Faulkton; assistant coach, Jessica Larson, Potter County.

Area 1 Class A: head coach, Eric Townsend, Milbank; assistant coach, Mark Stone, Aberdeen Roncalli.

Area 2 Class B: head coach, Ross Flemmer, Dell Rapids St. Mary; assistant coach, Katlyn Menzie, Colman-Egan.

Area 2 Class A: head coach, Brian Voss, West Central; assistant coach, Curtis Meendering, Canton.

AA East Boys: head coach, Jim Jarovski, Sioux Falls Lincoln; assistant coach, Mike Putnam, Brandon Valley.

AA East Girls: head coach, Troy Sturgeon, Brandon Valley; assistant coach, Tony Sturgeon, Brandon Valley.

Junior high middle school assistant coach: Matt Christensen, Brandon Valley.

Area 3 Class B: head coach, Kurt Stukel, Gregory; assistant coach, Tyler Novak, Viborg-Hurley.

Area 3 Class A: head coach, Matt Maxon, Platte-Geddes; assistant coach, Holly Evans, Chamberlain.

Junior high middle school assistant coach: Terice Ketelhut, Miller.

Area 4 Class B: head coach, Ralph Kroetch, Philip; assistant coach, Sierra Kraft, Timber Lake.

Area 4 Class A: head coach, Karen Karim, Custer; assistant coach, Tayton Vincent, Custer.

Junior high middle school assistant coach: Brady Chase, Hill City.

Area West Boys: head coach, Paul Hendry, Rapid City Stevens; assistant coach, Katie Anderson, Aberdeen Central.
