Braun has one-stroke lead at SDGA Junior Tour event

VERMILLION – Olivia Braun of Aberdeen shot a first-round 71 on Monday during the SDGA Junior Tour Championship at The Bluffs Golf Course.

Braun has a one-stroke lead over Lauren Knapp of Rapid City in the girls’ 16-18 division. Miller’s Jayce Pugh is two strokes off the pace.

The tournament runs through Wednesday.
